Introduction to Mindfulness Saturday Retreats
Offered on:

- March 1st, 2025
Retreat Leader: Rev. Dorothea Lotze, Executive Director (TACC), ACPE Educator, Pastor, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Yoga teacher
Time: Each Retreat starts at 10 am and ends at 5 pm.
Price: $350 (Limited scholarships available), Lunch and Snacks will be included

Retreat elements: In a day-long retreat participants will focus on a particular theme, while all retreats will include elements of solitude, journaling, resting, mindfulness practices, yoga or stretching, meditation, and creative expression.
The goal for each retreat is the education on how trauma and grief impact our nervous system and how body and brain functioning change due to stress and trauma. Through resetting and balancing our nervous system, healing and restoration become possible.
Follow up: Retreat participants will take many impulses with them into their daily living and on their healing and recovery journey. If retreat members desire additional care, TACC offers counseling and various retreat offers as ongoing support options.

Biographies of Presenters
Dorothea Lotze-Kola is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Pastoral Counselor, and Executive Director at TACC. She works with individuals, couples, groups and families. She specializes in: Spiritually integrated psychotherapy (SIP), trauma, grief, life transitions and personal growth, marital conflict and growth, stress and transitions in families, and immigration related stress. Dorothea is certified as a 200 hour yoga teacher by SoulWork and currently completing her Mindfulness Meditation teacher training with Jack Kornfield/Tara Brach.
Nineshia Mont-Reynaud is a licensed professional counselor and certified counseling supervisor. She began working in the mental health field a little over 20 years ago. Nineshia specializes in work/life balance, depression and anxiety disorders including trauma, providing postpartum support for mothers, marriage counseling, and helping military families and veterans living with PTSD. Currently, she maintains a private practice in the city of South Fulton and provides training, education, clinical supervision, and consultation as a Clinical Director at TACC.
