Support Groups (online)

HAT group leader: Stephanie Featherston

Events and changes in our lives often throw us off balance and leave us feeling isolated and alone. These times of transition remind us of the importance of community and connection as we face the challenges of our life’s journey. We believe the way to healing and living well is through the support of others, who share our human experience. Our groups provide a safe, non-judgmental space for coming together in a spirit of sharing and caring for one another.

Hope After Trauma (HAT Group)

Hope After Trauma (HAT Group) is a counseling support group for adult women. The group meets biweekly on Fridays from 9:30 am – 11:00 am. If you are interested, please contact the facilitator, Stephanie Featherston LPC, by calling our main number at 404-876-6266 and immediately dial extension 2010. Sliding scale options are available.

“Facilitating the Hope After Trauma group brings a different kind of joy as the members begin to connect with, support, and learn from each other. They begin to believe that others can be safe, and they can begin to shed their shame as they are met with respect and nurturance rather than fear or judgment. ”
